Servocyl M oils have excellent chemical and thermal stability and load carrying ability. These oils reduce steam consumption due to good sealing characteristics and minimise frictional losses. These oils are recommended for cylinder lubrication of steam engines handling superheated steam, where the condensate is separated from oil and reused for process work. Servocyl M oils are not suitable for wet steam conditions. These oils are also used in oil tempering and wire drawing applications with satisfactory results.
