SL Slidelube is specifically formulated to lubricate the slide mechanisms on Bucyrus 2500 series draglines, reducing friction, heat and wear. Such reductions extend slide life and result in less downtime, less maintenance and more production. SL Slidelube is formulated using a high viscosity base material, which forms a tenacious coating on sliding surfaces. This coating serves as a barrier to help prevent metal-to-metal contact. SL Slidelube uses a high flashpoint solvent and does not contain any heavy metal additives. Disposal can thus be in the same manner as appropriate for any spent grease or asphaltic lubricant.
