MARWAY 2540 is a trunk piston diesel engine oil recommended for heavily loaded marine engines operating fuels with a high sulphur content where an oil complying with TBN 20-30 and SAE 40 is required.

MARWAY 2540 is recommended for heavily loaded marine trunk piston diesel engines that operate on fuels with a high sulphur content, so-called residual oil, where the requirements are on an oil complying with TBN 20-30. MARWAY 2540 should not be used for operation with low-sulphur fuel, for which a lower TBN is recommended.
