CEPSA PETREL HDL oil has been developed for use in next generation marine and stationary diesel engines that operate under extreme high speed conditions and high effective mean pressures using distillate marine fuels. It also has special protection against the formation of deposits as a result of high stability of the detergent-dispersant properties of the oil.

Petrel HDL is recommended for marine diesel engines that require the use of an oil that meets engine manufacturer specifications (MTU, MAN, DEUTZ, etc.).
